Marketing Fish Friends

We have some awesome new little friends in the Marketing / Technology area here at the office. We have a fish tank now where we have 4 friends living. Their names are G-Bic, Router, Shin, and Redd. As you can see we took advantage of the area to continue showcasing our fascination of Legos – Aquaman and Merman are hanging with them in the shipwreck. Say hello to our little friends!

Our AWESOME Week in Review! – 4.12.2013

Q2 Meeting

Well it was that time again, time for the Quarter 2 kick-off meeting! It is always a blast at these meetings…never a dull moment.  This time around we kicked it off with some Chick-fil-a biscuits and then everyone got ready to get to work and start “framing up” with their Home Depot aprons. This quarter our theme is Framing Up.  We have laid the foundations now we are starting to  build the walls around becoming Experts in Awesome.  We did a quick review of last quarter and what we were able to accomplish,  we also recognized our first set of Gold Star core value award winners for Q1:  It was a great meeting rolling out the plans for the quarter.  We are going to be busy, but our customers and community are going to reap the benefits!

April surprise from my tormentors, err co-workers

Note to self:

Do not take April Fool’s day off. Coworkers when armed with information like “man, I don’t see myself ever getting married”, or “man, I’m sure glad I don’t have to ask permission to go somewhere”, or the ever popular ”weddings are like funerals, only with better food” they tend to use it against you. One side of the coin it sucks having your wall spammed, but on the other side at least I know what they were up to. We work in an environment where nothing good comes from silence. If they did nothing, I would have likely taken Monday off too so that whatever they planted in or around my desk would have died or moved to another cube.
