CK’s 5 Best Tech Gifts for Christmas 2016

There is a perfect tech gift for everyone, no matter their geekiness level. I think we’ve all received gifts that we did not want, like that handy dandy vacuum cleaner or the three-tiered candle set (LAME).

Since the Christmas season is upon us, it is now an exciting time to look further into new technologies. We interviewed a few people here at the CablesAndKits office and asked them what tech gifts  they are hoping for this 2016 Christmas. Here is what they had to say:

Happy Holidays from CablesAndKits

Here at CK, the holidays are a special time where everyone gets warm and fuzzy feelings and excitement for the huge feasts that are quickly approaching (go ahead and pull those stretchy pants out of your closet). From October until December, there is non-stop excitement around the office. In October, we put on an epic Halloween Costume contest along with a yummy Chili cook-off. These two events have been known to bring the warrior out of people (we are a competitive bunch). November is all about being thankful and figuring out how many clever ways we can repurpose the leftover turkey. In December, we hold an ugly sweater contest, gingerbread house competition and end our festivities with a festive Christmas party which brings all of our families together.

Merry Christmas!

It’s rare… to come to work during the Christmas season and have a true Christmas celebration. Never have I been a part of a company that celebrates with such authenticity. Not only in camaraderie amongst co-workers but also in the true spirit of Christmas. I mean, we had a real-life Santa come by and I think everyone took a picture with him! (some of the pics below!) The following blog has been written by three separate CnK team members and edited and melded together by me, Christin. We wanted to take a little time to tell you a little about our end of the year Community Outreach projects. All of these projects were successful, not just for the need that was filled, but for the reminder to us about what is really important and how blessed we are to have our work, our homes, and our families.

Let’s just face it, we have it pretty good. Your car won’t start? At least you have one. You’re a little late on your mortgage payment? At least you have one.  Having some difficulties at work, well, let just face it, you’re lucky you have a job at all. The same can be said about so many aspects of our lives. Even those most fundamental, rudimentary things we tend to overlook and take for granted. Even those things that mean the most, like family.

Merry Christmas from CablesAndKits

CablesAndKits.com is located near Atlanta, GA – we are not used to it being 25° F outside every morning!  Needless to say, I have elevated my coffee intake to “addiction level” in order to fight the cold – or at least make it more enjoyable.

It seems like we were just having our Thanksgiving Chili-cook-off yesterday, but all of the sudden Winter has come upon us in full force.
