I certainly am…for some things. I am also the first to admit that it took most of my entire lifetime to arrive at that point. There was just some unfounded stigma about using an item that wasn’t a name brand. Not to mention, I didn’t want my guests to see anything in my cabinets like that.
Is it too late to say Happy New Year? We don’t think so considering some of us are restarting our new year resolutions in February. January was our trial free month. Now excuse me as I go for a brisk walk around the building a few times to get my steps in. (Yes, I am participating in a FitBit challenge, judge me)

There is a perfect tech gift for everyone, no matter their geekiness level. I think we’ve all received gifts that we did not want, like that handy dandy vacuum cleaner or the three-tiered candle set (LAME).

Remember the time when our TV’s only showed in black and white and the sense of color was only a figment of our imagination? Yeah me neither, I’m too young but I bet it would be weird. In other news, CablesAndKits recently added two brand new lines to our IP phone family and we are super stoked about them. Not like hearing about the posibility of colonizing other planets, but seriously we are geeked out! We are talking full color with Bluetooth, WI-FI capabilities, and USB ports. Lets jump into the details:
CablesAndKits has always had a heart for giving to others. Serving others is at the core of our being, as we positively impact others. We act with an “I’m for you” mentality and perpetually seek ways to assist others.
As we prepare to upgrade our technology internally, a silent auction was held in efforts to raise money to bless Rainbow Village, a local non-profit organization. All of our employees were given the opportunity to place their bid on technology that was being phased out and 100% of the profits were donated.
As technology continues to evolve, we often find ourselves in need to replace some of our outdated IT equipment. When is the right time to replace? Is it after a set number of years or when the decals begin to fade like an old store receipt that you can barely read.
