With numerous variations of series, port counts, sizes, and types of switches out there, it’s challenging for the non-technical elite to make sense of it all. Power-over-Ethernet, often referred to as PoE, is a system used to distribute data and power to a targeted network of devices via safe Ethernet cabling. It uses basic copper cables and a switch to send power to the network. Recently, PoE+ has also become popular. Use this guide to help you determine which one best meets your needs.

Remember the time when our TV’s only showed in black and white and the sense of color was only a figment of our imagination? Yeah me neither, I’m too young but I bet it would be weird. Silent Auction to Help Others

CablesAndKits has always had a heart for giving to others. Serving others is at the core of our being, as we positively impact others. We act with an “I’m for you” mentality and perpetually seek ways to assist others.

As we prepare to upgrade our technology internally, a silent auction was held in efforts to raise money to bless Rainbow Village, a local non-profit organization. All of our employees were given the opportunity to place their bid on technology that was being phased out and 100% of the profits were donated.
